Nausea is the norm

As the news

reports the US

blows another skiff

to smithereens a

mere murdering pirate

these days but

still flying the

red, white, and

blue

Renditioning citizens and

strangers for no

crime and with

no due process

as the crags

of morality lie

in waste amongst

the patriotic bunting

while

the east wing

is the metaphor

for this criminal

president elected while

we all watched

dancing with the

stars as the

oligarchs fed us

more of what

we

didn’t need but

can’t seem to

get enough

of as the

vomit dribbles back

down our collective

throats having just

puked in our

mouths again
